Being Well in 2017

My theme this year is “Make Progress or Make Excuses” and this applies to all of the aspects of my life.  Over the last few years, it seems that virtually everything has changed except how I care for myself.  Until now.  I am not a fan of excuses so progress is the only way to go.

Like many of us, I spend a lot of my time taking care of and doing things for other people instead of caring for her and investing in myself.   I have come to terms with the fact that this balance between caring for others and myself is a tad bit out of whack.  So this year I will live very deliberately and specifically choose how I’m going to spend my time and resources to achieve my goals.   I will share this journey with you in the hope that you will find a resource that could work for you too.

Accountability seems to be one of my biggest issues with making changes in the self-care department.  So, I am working with an amazing life coach – Lea Newman – to help keep me on track.

I’ve been reading a couple of books to help me look at things differently and think positively.  I’ll be sharing those with you too.

In the meanwhile, please enjoy this post about getting more fruits and veggies into your daily eats.
